The nights are drawing in fast 🙂 it’s great to spend the evenings snuggle up in the house, candles on and a nice cup of tea in hand. I got my copy of The National Allotment Society‘s seed catalogue at the weekend… pens at the ready!

We can order our veggie & flower seeds though our allotment 🙂 here’s what I’ve chosen…

Vegetables… christmas dinner in the making!
  • Rainbow chard (we’ve never grown this before but I tried it recently and loved it!)
  • Revenge sprouts F1
  • Fly away carrots F1
  • Brunswick cabbages
  • Metro squash F1
  • Sunshine pumpkin F1
  • Sweetcorn extra sweet
Salad… we want to make a new salad raised bed in 2014
  • Garlic chives
  • Cut & come again mixed leaves
  • Parsley (and lots of it! for our little bunnies, Daisy & Alvin :D)
  • Rocket
  • White Lincoln spring onions
Flowers… thinking about the bees and companion planting
  • Wild flowers windowsill mix
  • Sunflower ‘big smile’ dwarf variety
  • Borage
  • Marigolds
  • Echinops globe thistle
  • Bunny tail grass
  • Nasturtiums
  • Giant sunflower

What can I say? This girl loves her shopping 😀  It’s exciting to look forward to next years planning and where we’ll be putting things on our little plot.  Are you trying anything new for next year or sticking to what you know?
