Time To Wrap Up Warm…

Getting Chilly on the allotment - Picture by Chris Sherratt

This beautiful picture was taken by my friend Chris Sherratt from his allotment shed. It’s one of my favourite images 🙂 A nice brew to warm  your cockles! 😀

There’s a chill in the air.  I have to say I’m quite relieved (being a winter baby!)  It’s been a lovely hot summer, which has worked wonders for our flowers and veggies.  Now I’m glad it’s time to put your warm snuggly jumpers on, toast your toes by the fire and keep cosy indoors 🙂

I’ve recently subscribed to one of my favourite magazines Country Living.  Not only did I subscribe to get six issues of the magazines, they had a gift of Joules wellies!!! (aaarrrhhhhh << heavenly music! :D)

Yes, here I am in my wellies, I just couldn’t wait to get them on! and yes… I’m in my PJ’s hehe they do feel like slippers in my defence! 😀

Anyway, the reason for this post is because I would completely recommend that you get the latest November issue of Country Living Magazine.  A particular article caught my eye when I was having a read the other day…

CL Image Intro

Luscious autumn colours and lots of warm knits in an article dedicated to allotment fashion! 🙂 I was completely captivated by the beautiful photography by Craig Forman.  A great set of images, showing off the latest allotment attire, great for keeping warm whilst you’re working hard on the lottie. The rich colours complimented the setting perfectly… and now I want everything they advertised! 🙂

I don’t think I’d want to get any of the clothes dirty, so my lovely Mr.B would have to do the digging whilst I art directed 😀 What do you think?

  1. Great pictures – I love to see them but in reality I go to my allotment in my scruffs as no matter what I do I seem to get super muddy! I’ve just got a shed and can’t wait to get a gas stove and kettle, oh and a wheelbarrow.

    • I know what you mean! I’m forever getting muddy 🙂 all the clothes in the article! Nice colours against the muddy brown and green! Wow it must be great to have a shed. There’s nothing I’d love more than to make it my little space and make brews on a cold day on the lottie 🙂 x
