It’s been great to take opportunities to get out and about during our weekends off with Jassy, and this weekend was no exception. I work for Art In The Garden, I help to organise photography workshops run by my friend Michael Turner. One of the perks of my job is that I can go out to stunning gardens and locations, with groups of photographers and take lots of pictures with my iPhone.
On Saturday, we met up at Dunham Massey Village. A picturesque place with rows of quaint cottages, and beautiful gardens bursting with flowers. It was for our autumn Wild Walk. A small group of us set out in the afternoon sunshine (we thought it might have rained on us but I’d been keeping my eyes, toes and fingers crossed all morning!) It reminded me so much of Styal Village in Cheshire (another favourite place of ours).
We ended up walking through The National Trust Dunham Massey. Michael had set us a project to capture autumn and to be on the look out for fungi. Here are some of the images I found on my adventure…
All in all it was a great afternoon. It was so nice to get some fresh air in a lovely county estate. Jassy and Mr.B had a great time, and so did the rest of the Wild Walkers 😀 We’ll be running 4 seasonal walks next year which will be good.
Michael kindly took this picture of us, it’s nice to have a good family portrait! I’m usually the one behind the camera 🙂 Thanks Mr.T for taking this picture we really love it!
Until next time…
