Bees, Shows and Plot Plans

Christmas is overSo it’s all over, the house has been de-christmassed, all tinsel is out of sight and I have to admit, it makes me sad 😦 the only saving grace is now my elf ears have retracted, my grow your own hat has popped back on my head and my mind is whizzing with thoughts of our allotment, bees, juicy strawberries and the plot bursting with veg and a buzzing flower patch.Β Sunner Summer DaysWe’ve had such a great 2014 I’m hoping this year will be just as good, if not better.Β  Christmas dinner will be top of our list to plan so we get even more veggies than we had last year – it’s all about the timing, something were getting there with, but it could be better πŸ™‚

  1. Beekeeping sounds like so much fun! I’m looking forward to the day when I have more time for things like that… I’m squeezing every spare minute I can find to get out in the garden this year – which is also the last year of my 20’s! We have a shared Wedding date and birth year!? How cool πŸ™‚ xxx

    • Wow that is cool πŸ™‚ when is your birthday? πŸ™‚ this year I really want to post more on the blog and keep up the hard work on the allotment. I’ve got lots of new and interesting things to do this year πŸ™‚ I hope you have a great last year of your 20’s πŸ™‚ xxx

      • 19th November! I’m really hoping this year will be a good one for us all. I’m going with the focus of “all things God made, not mamade”. Great excuse to spend all my time outdoors with nature! Are you looking forward to 30 or dreading it? πŸ˜‰

    • Im sure i’ll be fine πŸ™‚ it will be a lovely group of like minded gardeners at the garden club so I’m it will be fine πŸ™‚ my mind is whizzing about what to say and what pictures to show x

  2. Oooo good luck with the bee course. I have had a stand for the past few years at the Kent Beekeeper’s Honey Show in Smarden and the beekeepers are all such lovely people. Maybe you have a local club too?
