Hi everyone 🙂 I’m sorry it’s been a while. I honestly don’t know where the time is going! It’s nearly half way through the year?! (No way!) I’ve been really busy this month. I’ve been working hard in my Creative Corner and I took part in the Manchester 10K, which I ran for Beechwood Cancer Care. What a great experience. I can’t believe how nervous I was but it was a buzzing day 🙂
I’ve not had much time to pop to the plot (hangs head in shame) but managed to get down there on Friday for a couple of hours. I tidied up and planted some onions and beans I’ve started at home.
Even the ladybirds are busy 😉
The grass looked fab after I gave it a hair cut with my new edgers from B&Q 🙂 (still needs a good weeding!!)
I managed to pot on my Potimarron pumpkins. I’m going to put them in the ground soon. Friends of ours have given us 4 big bags of rotted manure, I’m going to get that dug in first *prepares muscles* hehe 😀
Me and Mr.B started our beekeeping practical course last week. It was great! So good to see the bees. Mr.B loved it too, it was the first time he’s seen the hives up close. We’ve bought our bee suits too so I hope we can wear them tomorrow night (fingers crossed the weather will pick up for tomorrow).
I hope your plots and gardens are coming on nicely – I’ll be back soon 🙂
